General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics , has been awarded a contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering and Support Services (MiDAESS) program to provide infrastructure and deployment services in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System. The five-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity contract has a $565 million ceiling value for all awardees; the contract has no initial award value.
Through the MiDAESS contract, General Dynamics will have an opportunity to compete for task orders to provide professional services support for infrastructure and facilities planning from the incident of attack to deployment of Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS). The company will perform program management support and infrastructure logistics management and assist with facility standards, space and facility management to enhance the safety and quality of the Agency’s workplace environment.
