BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $51,269,726 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-4308) for USS Barry (DDG 52) fiscal 2011 extended drydocking selected restricted availability (EDSRA). An EDSRA includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship’s military and technical capabilities.
Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by April 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $51,269,726 will expired at the end of the current fiscal year.
