President of Lao People’s Democratic Republic Choummaly Sayasone paying state call to the Russian Federation visited museum cruiser Avrora .
Lao delegation headed by the President and the First Lady arrived in Russia on invitation of President Dmitry Medvedev .
The guests watched the exposition on board the legendary cruiser and had familiarization excursion over the ship’s engine space. Choummaly Sayasone met with St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko and discussed issues of mutual cooperation in industry and tourism.
