General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $21,133,458 cost-plus, fixed-fee level-of-effort contract for reactor plant planning yard services for nuclear-powered submarines and support yard services for the Navy’s moored training ships. The contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $121,207,572.

Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (95 percent), and Charleston, S.C. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2014. Contract funds in the amount of $16,918,893 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-12-C-2100).
