By the end of last year, Damen Shipyards Galati together with their traditional partner, Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding from The Netherlands, signed the letter of intention for building a joint logistic support ship, for Royal Netherlands Navy.
A few days ago, on 23-rd of November 2011, the contract has been signed.
Being one of the most ample projects ever assigned to our shipyard, the related scope and activities are significantly increased. Therefore, active involvement of all participants is required in order to perform the works in due term and under high quality standards.
