To control execution of the intergovernmental Agreement on Prevention of Incidents On and Over High Seas, delegation of Russian Navy headed by deputy chief of Navy Main HQ RADM Leonid Sukhanov arrived in Greece.

In particular, the agenda of talks held in the Greek defense ministry included such issues as realization of the Agreement during the period of Nov 2010 – Dec 2011, use of special signals provided by the Agreement in Russian and Greek navies, potential ways to enhance security on and over the high seas.

Visit of the Russian delegation to Greece finished on Dec 16.
