A US State Department delegation headed by Mr. Walter Givhan, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Plans, Programmes and Operations of the United State Department’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs called on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake at the Naval Headquarters on 30th April 2012.
They held cordial discussions on a wide range of issues of mutual interests and bilateral importance focused on enhancing assistance and cooperation. Mementos were too exchanged to mark the occasion.
