Sri Lankan Navy Assist in Reparation of Fishing Boat

Sri Lanka Navy assisted in the repatriation of a Sri Lankan fishing boat named “Malisha 01” on 05th June 2012.

The boat, which had been released from Indian custody, was received from Indian Cost Guard Ship “Priyadarshini” at the International Maritime Boundary Line off Kankasanthurei by the Sri Lanka Cost Guard boats named CG 40 and CG 43. It was safely brought to Kankasanturei harbour along with the owner and his assistant on board. Thereafter, arrangements were made for the boat to return to its home town.
