President of the Republic of Seychelles, His Excellency James Alix Michel and his delegation visited the boatyard at SLNS Mahasen in Welisara on 22 nd August 2012. On arrival, the President was received by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake.
The visiting delegation viewed a presentation on SLN and its craft construction project after visiting the craft construction workshop. They appreciated the SLN’s achievements after a short period of humanitarian operation. The President and the Commander of the Navy also held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interests. Mementoes were exchanged to mark the occasion.
