Naval patrol crafts attached to the Western and North-western Naval Commands arrested 16 Indian fishermen and 3 Indian Trawlers engaged in illegal fishing in the North-western seas of Sri Lanka on 02 nd March 2013.

They were taken into SLN custody in Sri Lankan Waters off Kudiramalai Point and brought to Kalpitiya Fisheries Harbour to be handed over to Police for legal action.
