Scott Technologies Inc., located in Monroe, N.C. has received a USD 11.7 million contract for self-contained breathing apparatuses and corresponding cylinders and valve assemblies for the government of Taiwan under the FMS (Foreign Military Sales) Program.
The FMS Program is the US Government’s program for transferring defense services, articles and training to other sovereign nations and international organizations, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
The work will be performed in Monroe N.C., and it is expected to be completed by Sept. 15, 2013.
