Naval Forces Southern Luzon joined the launching and deployment of coral pods into the waters off Sto Domingo, Albay on 03 August 2013. The project was conceptualized by one of the JCI members which eventually presented to the Governor of Albay, Hon. Joey Sarte Salced for approval and implementation.

After a simple program and briefing, divers from different clubs including NAVY divers rushed up to prepare their diving gears and load the pods into the raft. It was a BAYANIHAN seeing everyone are helping together to embark said pods into the engagement area.

NAVY divers from the Naval Special Operations Unit 3 headed by LTJG CASTRO PN and other civilian divers were hand in hand in deploying the 60 pods underwater which correspond to a rosary. It Started when a group of divers spearheaded by NAVY pers and Bicol Divers laid a rope underwater as a layout of the huge rosary. The pods were eventually deployed in decades/group. After which, the group started to rearrange said bids to resemble a big rosary underwater.
