FISHING Naval personnel attached to SLNS Barana of the North Western Naval Command on routine patrol arrested 4 persons with an FGD engaged in illegal fishing using purse seine nets on 17th December 2013 in the seas off Kudiramalai in Puttalam.
The arrested persons along with the recovered items were handed over to the Silawathura Police for further investigations.
