Pella Shipyard Launches First “Raptor” Patrol Boat for Russian Navy

Russian Pella Shipyard has launched the first serial high speed patrol boat of project 03160 “Raptor” of 2014 Manufacturing programme built under the Contract with the Russian Navy.

The vessel, which will now undergo sea trials, has a length of 17 m, width of 4 m and a draught of 0.9 m.

The Shipyard plans to deliver 4 boats of this project to the State Customer, RF Navy, before the end of this year.

The boat is intended to perform the following operations at day-time and at night: the transportation of group of at least 20 persons providing the highest possible embarkation and debarkation; duties in assigned areas; intercept and arrest of small targets and rescue of people in areas of duty.
