Sri Lanka Naval craft attached to the Eastern Naval Command on routine patrol arrested 15 fishermen with 4 FGDs engaged in illegal fishing. The operation took place in the seas North of Pigeon Island in Trincomalee on 5th October 2014.
The arrested persons along with illegal fishing gear were handed over to the Trincomalee harbour police for further investigations.
