In accordance with the state contract the shipbuilders of Yaroslavl will deliver to the customer a series of 4 cutters of this project up to the mid-2016.

Over the past few years the OJSC “Yaroslavsky Shipyard” has built 11 cutters of the project 12260 «Yastreb» for various customers, including 3 units for the Federal Security Service of Russia.

Their function is to carry out the inspection work and patrols as a part of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the sea coastal zones with special staff and passengers on board.

The cutters of the project 12260 “Yastreb” with their small size of 13 m, and the displacement is about 10 tons, are unpretentious in operation, have excellent sea-going characteristics, high speed (over 40 knots), great maneuverability and good habitability.
