US Navy’s Mineman 1st Class Douglas Reynolds gives commands to the crane operator during the deployment of an AN/SLQ-48 mine neutralization vehicle aboard the Avenger-class mine countermeasure ship USS Chief (MCM 14) as part of exercise Clear Horizon 2014.
The annual bilateral exercise between the U.S. and Republic of Korea navies is designed to enhance cooperation and improve capabilities in mine countermeasure operations.
