A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to the Flying Tigers of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 361 prepares to land on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) during exercise Blue Chromite.
The amphibious training exercise is with the 4th Marine Regiment and the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines.
Germantown is part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and is conducting joint forces exercises in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
