Reina Sofía Returns from NATO’s Active Endeavour

The Spanish Navy’s frigate “Reina Sofía” has completed its participation in NATO’s counter-terrorist operation “Active Endeavour” in the Mediterranean Sea.

The vessel departed the Standing NATO Maritime Group (SNMG-2) after participating in the operation for a month and a half and returned to its Rota Naval Base on Saturday.

Reina Sofía started its deployment on October 15 when it departed Rota.

The vessel took part in “Noble Mariner” and “Mavi Balina” exercises and carried out various missions.
