Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization has released a call for Expressions of Interest for Naval Vessels Repair and Maintenance Services.
The Danish Defence has acquired a new Seahawk Helicopter and therefore, the 4 vessels of the Thetis class need modifications to accommodate these helicopters as well as new RHIBs (Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boats) for the Navy.
The contract will comprise two of the vessels (Vædderen and Hvidbjørnen) and 2 further vessels (Thetis and Triton) as optional. The refitting will primarily concern the hangar area, landing deck and side decks. Furthermore new rooms/areas have to be established and necessary follow-up works.
Deadline for EOI is March 3, and the value of the contract is between 24,5 million USD and 27,5 million USD.
