An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter attached to the Blackjacks of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 lifts pallets of supplies during a replenishment-at-sea.

The supplies were transferred from the flight deck of the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Walter S. Diehl (T-AO 193) during a vertical replenishment with Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2).

The operation was conducted while the vessels were in the South China Sea on June 14.

The Essex Amphibious Ready Group is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
