The lead ship of the Russian Navy’s project 11356, the Admiral Grigorovich, built by JSC Baltic Shipyard Yantar, has successfully completed builder’s sea trials in the Baltic Sea.

The final stage of the program, which began April 8, was completed on October 3. As part of the tests, Admiral Grigorovich sailed out to the Baltic Sea more than 10 times. All systems and equipment aboard the vessel showed full operational capability.

TFR Admiral Grigorovich is currently preparing to hold public trials, scheduled to begin mid-October and expected to last about three weeks. After the trials period concludes, the vessel will be commissioned and handed over to the Russian Navy in November 2015.
