Metro Machine, doing business as General Dynamics NASSCO Mayport, Jacksonville, Florida, is being awarded a $34,8 million contract for phased maintenance availability repair work onboard USS New York (LPD 21).

This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $37,750,389.

Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida, and is expected to be completed by October 2016.

The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center, Mayport, Florida, is the contracting activity.
