Operation Atalanta ships conduct FAs to help build relationships with the local Somali fishing communities and to understand their concerns.
The meeting also gave members of ITS Carabiniere’s crew the opportunity to discuss Operation Atalanta’s mission and how they can work together to improve the maritime security in the region.
