The Ukrainian Navy has received additional two Gurza-class small armored artillery boats, Ukraine’s defense ministry said on September 26.
The boats arrived at the Port of Odessa and will now undergo a set of tests after which they will be commissioned into the Ukrainian Navy.
After these two boats enter service, the Ukrainian Navy will have a total of six Project 58150 boats at its disposal.
The commander of Ukrainian naval forces, Vice Admiral Ihor Voronchenko, said he was pleased with the dedication shown by shipbuilder Kuznya na Rybalskomu in delivering the boats to the navy.
The 23-meter boats are suited for operation within 50 miles of their base and field two modules of remote-controlled 30-mm guns, a 7.62 mm machine gun, 30-mm grenade launchers, and anti-tank and anti-air missile launchers.
