The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) was involved in a collision with the bulk carrier Besiktas-M, while operating in the vicinity of Port Said, Egypt, in the Mediterranean Sea, the US Navy’s Sixth Fleet reported.
As informed, the accident happened at approximately 11:46 p.m. local time, on February 12, 2025. According to the US Navy’s officials, the collision did not endanger USS Harry S. Truman, as there are no reports of flooding or injuries.
