Turkish defense company Havelsan has signed an agreement with the Chilean Navy to provide its ADVENT combat management system (CMS) for the modernization of two frigates.

As informed, ADVENT CMS will be fully integrated into the frigates, and the project is scheduled to be completed within four years.

ADVENT is an integrated combat management system designed to meet modern naval warfare requirements.

Developed in close collaboration with the Turkish Naval Forces Command, ADVENT holds the distinction of being the first combat management system specifically designed for the Turkish Navy. It was first deployed on the Turkish Navy’s TCG Kinaliada corvette.

The system encompasses all operational processes, including threat evaluation, decision support, target detection, and weapon and sensor control.

With this project, Chile becomes the 9th country to integrate the ADVENT combat management system into its naval platforms.
