Terma has been a long-standing supplier to Boeing’s P-8 program. This MoU builds on that foundation, reflecting both companies’ commitment to deepen cooperation and deliver added value to customers.

By exploring options for a dedicated P-8 MRO capability in Denmark, the two companies aim to contribute to Denmark’s operational resilience.

“Terma is an enduring supplier to Boeing’s P-8 program and we have collaborated together for over a decade to advance Denmark’s aerospace ecosystem on projects such as the Harpoon Missile Simulator, a realistic training environment for the operation of advanced missile systems,” said Maria Laine, president of Boeing United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Nordics.

“In the face of global challenges, this MoU fortifies our shared vision for a stronger, more capable defense industrial base, and we are proud to stand beside Denmark’s largest defense company to deliver enhanced sovereign fleet support if Denmark selects the P-8 for its maritime patrol aircraft requirement.”

Last month, Terma signed an agreement with the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) to deliver 32 coastal surveillance radars.

The radar upgrade is expected to enhance Denmark’s ability to monitor maritime traffic, respond to potential threats against critical infrastructure, and protect the marine environment.
