Sea Tracker is designed for uncrewed and non-traditionally crewed platforms to increase preparedness and situational awareness in complex maritime environments.

According to Ultra Maritime, the system features a scalable architecture that integrates a full range of towed technologies, from torpedo defense systems to inline active and passive sensors and strategic surveillance arrays.

The system-of-systems design transforms a standard 20-foot container into a rapidly deployable ASW asset, giving navies the ability to detect, track, and engage even the most elusive submarines across diverse operational environments.

Through the collaboration and support of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and COVE, Ultra Maritime is providing this modular solution to the Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) for the experimentation and development of next-generation ASW concepts.

The partners share a commitment to innovation and conceptual and tactical development, with the goal of achieving maritime defense security.

To remind, Ultra Maritime recently launched a strategic partnership with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) aimed at revolutionizing anti-submarine warfare (ASW) through unmanned aerial technology. At the center of the new partnership is GA-ASI’s MQ-9B SeaGuardian, which will be integrated with Ultra Maritime’s miniaturized sonobuoys and acoustic receivers, enabling autonomous, long-range detection and tracking of submarines.
