Under the framework agreement, PPC Inspectra will provide specialized testing and inspection services, including non-destructive testing (NDT), cable inspections, including fiber-optic systems, equipment inspections using mini drones, and mast inspections using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The agreement is part of the Hellenic Industrial Participation (HIP) plan and is intended to support the maintenance of the frigates and contribute to allied naval operations in the Eastern Mediterranean.

According to Naval Group, the agreement further strengthens its partnerships with Greek industry and positions PPC Inspectra as a strategic supplier within the company’s supply chain. It also marks another step in the implementation of the HIP plan, under which Naval Group continues to expand cooperation with Greek companies.

The company said the growing network of industrial partnerships is expected to deliver long-term economic benefits to the Greek defense sector and could pave the way for broader cooperation on surface ship and submarine programs for international markets.

For PPC Inspectra, the agreement represents a milestone that reflects the company’s technical expertise and supports the PPC Group’s broader strategy of expanding advanced technical and digital capabilities for critical infrastructure, industrial innovation, the energy transition, and sustainable growth.
