
Aerospace and defence technology company Northrop Grumman has started construction on Australia’s first MQ-4C Triton, an unmanned maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft.

Australia and the UK have further strengthened their defence relationship by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to cooperate on building and delivering the next generation of frigates.

Australia-based Advanced Magnetic Ranges Australia Pty Limited (AMRA), a joint venture between marine technology firm AMOG and French naval technology specialist ECA Group, has submitted a bid for the Royal Australian Navy’s Magnetic Treatment Facility, known as project SEA1350 Phase 2.
