Navy to Observe Pakistan Day With Traditional Zeal and Frevor

Pakistan Navy (PN) will observe Pakistan Day (23rd March) with traditional zeal and fervor. According to a press release of ISPR DTE (Navy), the day will dawn with 21 gun salutes.

Special prayers will be offered in all mosques at PN units after Namaz-e-Fajar. To pay homage to the father of the nation, wreath laying ceremony will be held at Mazar-e-Quaid. Senior representatives from three services will lay wreath and offer Fateha. Pakistan Navy ships and units will be decorated and illuminated to mark the day as a great national event. Pakistan Navy has also organized an impressive ceremony of granting last wish of seriously ill children at Manora. The young wishers will be dressed up in Naval Uniform and have the opportunity to visit PN ships and hovercrafts. Commander Coast vice Admiral Tayyab Ali Dogar will be the chief guest on the occasion
