USA: Boeing Co. Wins USD 31 Million Contract for TRIDENT II Maintenance

The Boeing Co., Huntington Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $31,087,443 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus incentive contract for TRIDENT II (D5) maintenance, repair, and rebuilding in support of navigation equipment.

This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total contract value to $64,160,867. Work will be performed in Huntington Beach, Calif. (89 percent), and Heath, Ohio (11 percent), and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2014. Contract funds in the amount of $16,069,864 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
