Canada: Veterans’ Week Kicks Off

The Royal Canadian Navy joins their fellow Canadians in marking Veterans’ Week from November 5-11.

Sailors from across Canada and on overseas deployments from Libya to Kandahar will take time to remember, and to help keep alive the achievements and sacrifices made by those who served Canada in times of war and peace.

About Veterans’ Week

During this week, hundreds of commemorative ceremonies and events will take place across the country to recognize the achievements of their Veterans and honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
