Indian Naval Ship 'Savitri' Arrives at Port of Colombo

Indian Naval Ship ‘Savitri’ arrived at the Port of Colombo on 08th January 2012. The ship is on her way to the port of Victoria in Australia. It departs on 09th on completion of logistic replenishment.

INS Savitri is a Sukanya Class Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) commanded by Commander SK Pandey. It is 101.1 meters long and has a displacement of 1890 tons. The ship’s complement consists of 14 officers, 05 Officer Under Trainees and 140 sailors.
