Navy Reports Immediate Success with VideoRay Pro 4 ROVs

Royal Netherlands Navy Locate Two Drowning Victims with VideoRay ROVs within Two Months of the Systems Being Delivered

On January 10, 2012 VideoRay LLC of Phoenixville, PA, along with Dutch partner Nautikaris BV of Ijmuiden, Netherlands, completed the site acceptance test of four VideoRay Pro 4 submersible Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)systems with spare parts, accessories, and custom modifications for the Royal Netherlands Navy.

In less than a month after delivery they reported they successfully located a 10 year old boy under the ice with the VideoRay Pro 4 equipped with a BlueView P900-130 multibeam imaging sonar.

Less than a week after that first incident, they again were called into assist locate a missing ice skater under the ice just across the border in Germany using their VideoRay Pro 4 with a BlueView P900-130 multibeam imaging sonar. Again they were successful in locating the victim.
