PF Mariners to Conduct Large-Scale Joint Exercise in China
Pacific Fleet (PF) mariners will depart for China in order to conduct a large-scale joint exercise. In accordance with the bilateral agreement tied in the last year, PF will dispatch about 10 ships to Qingdao (China), reports Russian defense ministry.
Late Apr 2012, naval forces of the two countries will hold a large-scale exercise in assigned zone of the Yellow Sea.
During the last year’s visit of the head of Chinese General Staff Chen Bingde to Moscow, his Russian counterpart Gen. Makarov said that Russian-Chinese joint naval exercise was of critical significance, reports russian.dbw.cn.
