Sri Lankan Navy Arrests Persons With Heroin

Naval troops attached to the North-central Naval Command with the assistance of Mannar Police Range Intelligence Unit arrested 02 persons with 790 grams of heroin in the General Area Nadukuda in Thalai-mannar on 17th June 2012.

One of the arrested persons is an Indian national while the other is a resident of Pesalai, Mannar. The arrested persons and the heroin were handed over to Mannar Police Range Intelligence Unit for further investigations.
