Republic of Kazakhstan Naval Forces Commander Visits Polish Navy

Republic of Kazakhstan Naval Forces Commander Rear Admiral Zhandarbek Zhanzakov visited Polish Navy. During his visit Rear Admiral Zhandarbek spoke with Commander-in-Chief of Polish Navy Vice Admiral (three star) Tomasz Mathea, visited Polish Naval Academy and Polish Army’s Diving Training Center.

Kazakhstan Naval Forces Commander begun his visit on Wednesday, 27 June, from participating in the Balt Military Expo fair in Gdansk. The official welcoming ceremony was held by Commander-in-Chief of Polish Navy Vice Admiral (three star) Tomasz Mathea on Thursday in front of the historic destroyer ORP Blyskawica (Gdynia, Kosciuszko square). Directly after the ceremony both commanders spoke about the present and the future of both navies on board the museum ship ORP Blyskawica.

Kazakhstan s delegation visited also naval port in Gdynia-Oksywie to visit the Polish Navy s ships and to discover the possibilities of Polish Army s Diving Training Center – one of the most advanced diving training centers in Europe.

On the 29th of June the Kazakh delegation visited Naval Shipyard Gdynia. During the visit, the Shipyard presented the possibility of delivering the Minesweepers for the Kazakh Navy. The guests were also invited to see the Shipyard’s production capacity and experience, touring the Shipyard’s site.
