Sri Lanka Navy Arrests Persons Engaged in Illegal Fishing
Naval troops attached to the Naval Deployment Pulmudai of the Eastern Naval Command arrested 6 persons along with 6 fiber glass dingy boats at Arishamalai Fishing Point on 9th March 2013 for engaging in illegal fishing using light course.
The arrested persons along with 6 generators, 105 liters of Kerosene, 40 meters of wire and 15 power holders in their possession were handed over to Pulmudai Police for further investigations.
