LIMA'13 Sparks Interest of Defence Leaders

The Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and delegation were in Malaysia to attend the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2013 (LIMA ’13) at The Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre in Langkawi. More than 430 exhibitors from 52 countries participated in the exhibition.

Officially launched by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, The Most Honourable Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, the opening was followed by an awe inspiring aerial acrobatic demonstration by 22 aircrafts.

Also in attendance were the Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy & Development), the Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy and the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force.

At the sidelines of the exhibition, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces made a courtesy call to the Chief of Defence Force of the Malaysian Armed Forces, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin.
