Fleet Mmarine Dragon Boat Team to Conquer Bohol

After their remarkable success in Boracay last year, the Fleet-Marine Dragon Boat Team will once again prove their skills in paddling as they will be one of the participants in the 2nd Cobra-PDBF (Philippine Dragon Boat Federation) International Club Crew Challenge in Dauis, Bohol this April 26-30, 2013.

The team will be struggling among the paddlers coming from different countries in the world. They will be competing in all three divisions such as 20 paddlers men’s division, 20 paddlers women’s division and 20 paddlers mix division.

The team has already proven their toughness in several competitions. Since they join the league of Philippine Canoe and Kayak Federation (PCKF), they already gathered 12 championship titles.

The most highlighted in their achievements was during the 6th Boracay International Dragon Boat Festival participated by 26 teams coming all over the globe. The Fleet Marine Team emerged the most victorious in the said festival, bagging 5 out of 6 events in the two-day competition, proving that their Pinoy strength is world-class.

Presently, 9 male members of the team are in the list of Philippine Dragon Boat Team members. This year the team is looking forward that one of their female member will be included in the list.

Watch out for the Philippine Navy’s Fleet Marine Dragon Boat Team during the 2nd Cobra-PDBF (Philippine Dragon Boat Federation) International Club Crew Challenge as they will conquer the 1st Dragon Boat Race hosted by Bohol.
