Sri Lanka: Female Sea Cadet Assessment Camp 2013 Concludes

The female sea cadet camp 2013 concluded successfully on 09^th July 2013 at the Naval and Maritime Academy with the participation of 973 female sea cadets. The Chief Guest was Major General GBW Jayasundara, Director of the National Cadet Corps.

Buddhist Balika Vidyalaya from the 19^th Battalion won the first place scoring 1236.6 marks and Seethadevi Balika Vidyalaya from the 02nd Battalion won the Second Place scoring 1227.6 marks.

The officers from the Eastern Naval Command and the National Cadet corps, the principals and teachers from the Schools and a large member of parents were also present on the occasion. Two cadet bands, Navy band and cultural troupes too participated adding colour to the occasion.
