Commander, Naval Forces Western Earns His Second Star

The Officers and men of the Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM) rendered arrival honors to the newly promoted Commander, Naval Forces Western Mindanao (CNFWM), RADM ISABELO H GADOR AFP, last 23 July 2013 after his donning of ranks at the Headquarters Philippine Navy.

In his speech during the arrival honors, RADM Gador stressed that it is an honor to be granted a chance to serve and lead the men and women in uniform. He added that an even greater honor is to be recognized by superiors, lauded by peers, and emulated by subordinates for the service one has rendered to the country and the Filipino people. To be given a distinction such as an award, assignment to a higher position or a promotion is a fulfillment that one is highly rewarded like no other.
CNFWM RADM Gador also extended his gratitude to the Team NFWM. “This day would not be complete if I fail to recognize the valuable contributions each of you has performed for the past two months and for being part of TEAM NFWM in pursuit of the accomplishment of our mission,” he said.

A member of PMA “Dimalupig” Class 1981, RADM Gador has led the NFWM since he assumed command last May 2013.
