Sri Lankan Navy Commander Welcomes Army Commander
Newly-appointed Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake called on Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage at the Naval Headquarters in Colombo on 19th August 2013.
He was accorded a Guard of Honour and warmly received by the Commander of the Navy on arrival. They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest and pledged continued cooperation between the two sister forces. Mementos were also exchanged to mark the occasion symbolizing comradeship and goodwill.
