Aviation Boatswain's Mate Directs Super Hornet

The U.S. Navy’s Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Christopher O’neil directs an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the “Gunslingers” of Strike Fighter Squadron 105 onto a catapult on the flight deck of aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).

 

USS Harry S. Truman, flagship of Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, is operating in the Atlantic as it returns from a 9-month deployment to the U.S. 6th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility in support of maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and Operation Enduring Freedom.
