US Navy Assistant Secretary Pays Visit to NAVSUP WSS

The Honorable Susan J. Rabern, Assistant Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Financial Management and Comptroller visited NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) at its Mechanicsburg, Pa. site, May 28.

Rabern’s visit to NAVSUP WSS was part of a half-day visit to Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) and its enterprise commands located in Mechanicsburg.

During her visit to NAVSUP WSS, Rabern received an overview of the command’s logistics support for major weapon systems and also conducted a Town Hall that was open to all NAVSUP Enterprise employees.

“It was an incredible opportunity for our employees to have the chance to hear someone of Dr. Rabern’s caliber speak,” said Rear Adm. John King, NAVSUP WSS commander. “The Town Hall gave our people a better understanding of the current fiscal environment, as well as some insight into where the Navy might go in the future.”
