Yaroslav Mudry, Cola Arrive in Jakarta, Indonesia

Russian Navy’s Baltic Fleet (BF) frigate “Yaroslav Mudry” (727), along with the tanker “Cola”, arrived on a business call at the port of Jakarta, Indonesia.

With the task of providing security for civilian shipping in the Indian Ocean, the Neustrashimy class frigate and the tanker will stay in port until November 9.

A number of social events are planned during the vessels’ stay in Jakarta.

Yaroslav Mudry departed the main naval base of Baltiysk on 9 August. During its deployment the vessel sailed more than 11 thousand nautical miles, and visited the Spanish Ceuta port on the Mediterranean coast of Africa, the port of Valletta in Malta and the port of Karachi in Pakistan.
