Yaroslav Mudry Heads Home

Russian Navy’s Baltic Fleet (BF) frigate Yaroslav Mudry (727) has concluded its deployment and is on its way back home.

The vessel is currently traveling through the English Channel, and will afterwards sail through the North Sea and the Baltic Straits.

Yaroslav Mudry is expected to arrive in its homeport of Baltiysk, Russia, on February 23.

During its campaign, the vessel covered about 25 thousand nautical miles. After departing its homeport on August 9, 2014, the vessel visited 9 ports: the Spanish Ceuta port, Valletta (Malta), Karachi (Pakistan), Jakarta (Indonesia), Penang (Malaysia), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Salalah (Oman), Cyprus and Syria.
