Canadian Navy Stays Busy during Op CARIBBE

Canadian Navy’s vessels are taking part in Operation CARIBBE 2015.

Her Majesty’s Canadian Ships Nanaimo, Whitehorse, Glace Bay, and Shawinigan are on patrol, working with Western Hemisphere and European partners.

Operation CARIBBE is Canada’s participation in the multinational campaign against illicit trafficking by transnational organized crime in the Caribbean basin and the eastern Pacific Ocean.

The operation began in 2006 and its mandate has been altered twice since then.
